Who is behind Jupiter Botanics?
Jupiter was founded by Warren — a former stockbroker who left the financial world to formulate botanical skincare for his mother. What started as a personal solution became a product that sold itself at markets, through word of mouth, and through the kind of quiet, consistent results that don't need advertising. Kelly joined as co-founder and brand architect, bringing commercial experience and a deep personal conviction around cellular health. Together they lead the brand — Warren as formulator, Kelly as the force behind everything that comes next. Warren & Kelly are also engaged living in Cape Town.
How long has Jupiter been around?
Warren created Jupiter Oil in 2018. The brand has grown organically since then — through markets, independent stores, and the kind of word-of-mouth that only happens when something genuinely works and people love it. The current relaunch brings that same formulation philosophy into a fully built brand, with a Shopify store, a partner network, and the infrastructure to reach far more people and give back to community through our partner programme.
Why don't you sell in large pharmacy chains or supermarkets?
Deliberately. The mainstream retail model extracts value from communities — it doesn't build them. It serves shareholders, not people. We partner exclusively with independent health stores, wellness practitioners, and everyday people through our referral and affiliate programme, so the benefit flows back to the people. If you're picking up a Jupiter product, the person who sold it to you likely knows exactly what's in it and why it works, uses it and loves it!
What is your returns policy?
Honestly, we have in all our years never had anyone return their product as they LOVE it and it works. However of course if something doesn't work for you we are here to support you. so email us at support@jupiterbotanics.com and we can support you to find the best solution. read our returns policy
How long does delivery take within South Africa?
You select the best option for you at checkout which determines how long it takes, usually within 2-4 business days depending on area.

How do Jupiter subscriptions work?
When you subscribe to your favourite Jupiter products, your first order is processed and delivered within 2–3 business days — same as a regular order. Once payment is made, you'll receive an email to authorise your recurring payments and add your card details. Make sure you do this otherwise your order is not complete and wont be delivered. This activates your subscription so that every 2 or 3 months (whichever you chose), your payment processes automatically and your products ship straight to you. No reordering, no running out, no thinking about it. Just Jupiter arriving at your door when you need it.
Should I choose a 2-month or 3-month subscription?
If you use Jupiter Oil morning and evening — which is how most people use it, even when using day cream, many like to add some jupiter oil on first— a 2-month subscription is the right call. That's the natural rhythm most clients settle into. If you tend to use very small amounts or are more of an evening-only person, 3 months may work. Not sure? Start with 2 months. You can always adjust from your account.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Log into your customer account and you have full control to pause, adjust, or cancel your subscription. No hoops, no emails to us required.
Can I bundle different products into one subscription?
Yes. You can choose exactly which products you want delivered — mix and match across the range to build your own recurring order. One delivery, multiple products, your rhythm. Set it up once and let it run.

What makes Jupiter different from other natural skincare brands?
Most "natural" skincare still contains isolated ingredients, synthetic preservatives, or water as the primary base — ingredients your cells receive as incomplete or unfamiliar signals. Jupiter uses only whole seed and essential oils: ingredients nature delivers intact, with all their cofactors, so your cells know exactly what to do with them. Every product is also frequency-infused during manufacturing — something no other skincare brand in Africa does — which affects molecular bioavailability and deepens cellular absorption.
What does "cellular nutrition" mean?
Most skincare is designed to just support the skin — to moisturise, protect, or cover. Jupiter is formulated to feed your mitochondria, every cell, not jsut skin cells.. The seed oils we use are rich in the essential fatty acids your cell membranes are literally made of. When your cells receive whole, intact ingredients they recognise, they can do what they were always designed to do: repair, regenerate, and maintain themselves. That's cellular nutrition. Not just skincare.
Are the products backed by science?
Yes — the mechanisms behind Jupiter's formulations are grounded in cellular biology, lipid science, and the well-documented properties of each botanical. Essential fatty acids and cell membrane integrity are among the most studied areas in biochemistry. Frequency infusion is an emerging but physics-based field. We don't make claims we can't stand behind, and Warren's seven years of watching faces transform at markets is its own form of evidence.
What is circadian biology and how does it relate to Jupiter products?
Every organ in your body — including your skin — has its own clock, guided by cycles of day and night. Between 11pm and 3am, repair and regeneration are most active. Jupiter products are designed to work with these rhythms: applied before sleep, they deliver the right inputs at the moment your body is already primed to use them.
What is fascia, and why does it matter for skincare?
Fascia is the connective tissue web that runs through your entire body. It governs hydration, flexibility, and structural integrity — and almost no skincare brand addresses it. Water-based skincare sits on the surface. True hydration is a function of lipid nutrition reaching the fascia. Jupiter's seed oils penetrate deeply, supporting hyaluronic acid production and feeding the living matrix that holds your body together. When the fascia is nourished, your whole system feels it, and you can see it on your radiant skin.
Why no isolated ingredients?
When your cells receive a mixed or incomplete signal — synthetic compounds, natural isolates stripped of their cofactors, or ingredients your body doesn't recognise — they can't respond fully. Jupiter Oil formulations contain only whole seed and essential oils. A clear signal. No interference. Your cells respond the way they were designed to.
What is frequency infusion and why does it matter?
During manufacturing, every Jupiter product is infused with specific frequencies. This is not mystical — it is physics. Frequency affects molecular structure and bioavailability. The result is deeper absorption, more coherent nutrient delivery to cells, and enhanced efficacy of every ingredient. We use frequencies associated with repair and regeneration in cellular biology research. No other skincare brand in Africa does this.

How should I store Jupiter products?
Away from direct sunlight and heat. A bathroom cabinet, sink area, bedside drawer, or cool shelf works perfectly. No refrigeration needed. The amber glass bottles in most products protect the integrity of the oils from UV degradation. Jupiter Oil also has so much natural antioxidants within the seeds oils to maintain integrity of the product. Just keep them out of direct sunlight.
Can I use more than one Jupiter product at the same time?
Yes — the range is designed to work together. Jupiter Oil and Jupiter Day Cream form a complete day-and-night cycle. Jupiter Facial Mist primes the skin before Jupiter Oil for deeper absorption. Jupiter Man and Jupiter Beard are built to complement each other for men. Jupiter Body supports all the cells and cell membranes in your body. Jupiter Hair is supporting your scalp and hair. Each product page includes a "Daily Ritual" section.
Can I use Jupiter products during pregnancy?
Most Jupiter products contain therapeutic essential oils, and some compounds are generally recommended to avoid in the first trimester or throughout pregnancy. We'd always suggest checking the full INCI list with your healthcare provider. Jupiter Baby and Jupiter Body Oil are the gentlest formulations in the range. Each product page includes a specific pregnancy note where relevant.
How do I know how much to use?
With whole botanical oils, less is always more than you think. These aren't conventional products padded with water and fillers — the actives are concentrated. Start with the amount suggested on each product page and adjust down if you notice any residue after ten minutes. Your skin tells you quickly.
How quickly will I see results?
Immediate sensory and hydration effects are noticeable from first use. Visible changes — improved tone, reduced inflammation, fading marks — typically become clear within 2–4 weeks of consistent use. Structural changes like reduced fine lines and improved skin texture take longer: most people report clear improvement at the 6–8 week mark.
Will Jupiter products cause breakouts?
Jupiter oils are non-comedogenic and rich in linoleic acid (Omega 6) — the fatty acid most depleted in acne-prone and oily skin. Most breakouts from facial oils are reactions to synthetic additives or comedogenic ingredients, neither of which are in Jupiter formulations. If your skin is highly reactive, start with a small amount on one area for a few days and build from there.
Are Jupiter products suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes — the whole-ingredient philosophy is specifically suited to sensitive skin. Synthetic preservatives and isolated compounds are what typically trigger reactions; whole botanicals with their natural cofactors intact are far better tolerated. The exception is known essential oil sensitivities — check the INCI list on each product page if you have a specific allergy.
